Communications The Palace has 8 Tech Pro Belt packs and head sets available.
There are various comms points around the venue in all the usual places.
Cue Lights The Palace has an 8 way Q-Light base station with 3 Q-lights.
Video There are no video tie lines.

Follow Spots The venue has two Strand Solo CSI follow spots with six way colour magazine.
These are situated at the back, in the middle of the top balcony.

On Stage Lighting Positions
The venue has three internally wired bars: -
3 x 12 way bars with15amp sockets. Each bar is fed with 2 six way socapex cables and out-puts with a 15 amp socket.
Control
The Lighting control is provided by an MA GRAND MASTER LIGHT.
This gives 999 channels of control.
Dimming
Dimming is provided by 5 racks of Rank Strand LD90, giving 120 ways of 2.5kw dimmers.
The dimmers are wired as follows:
26 to FOH - 12 to Booms - 24 to Dips - 4 to orchestra pit. - 54 high level stage.

Sound Equipment
Acoustics
The Palace Theatre was built in 1912 and the acoustics for the spoken word are good.
PA system
There are 24 sends and 4 return audio tie lines off stage left terminating in the control room or rear auditorium, which is situated at the rear of the stalls. These allow connection into the House PA.
The mixer has a 4 way matrix added to it allowing simple routing to the in house signal processing and amplifiers.
The in house equipment is set to give a flat response in the auditorium.
